Additional Options

Stairs & Railings • Buildings may require available accessories such as Prefabricated Stair Systems, Ladders, Handrails and Gates. Engineered drawings and specifications will be supplied for approval.

Power • Electrical components are mounted onto the Building Systems during installation. Packages may include single pole, 3-way switches, duplex or other outlets upon request. Circuit breaker panels on advanced Building Systems are provided by an electrician or technician on-site and sized to your unique electrical needs. Electrical wiring, conduit, communication cables, and light bulbs are also provided by the electrician or distributor with standard code compliance and quality assurance.

Modular Snap Wiring is available upon request. It simply snaps together linking all the pre-wired lights and outlets back to the junction box near the load center.

Modular construction is open construction, which allows inspectors to examine the structure and wiring at any point of the installation process.

Decking Options • The strong corrugated steel Roof Decking (22ga B-deck) is covered with various overlay materials including OSB, plywood, tread plate and more.

Acoustical Ceiling & Lighting Fixtures • Steel decking provides strength to support the 2×4 grid ceiling at any height. The standard lighting fixtures have an acrylic lens cover. Most specialized lighting systems, such as indoor grow lights, are easily compatible with modular InPlant Grow Rooms and Offices. See Lighting Supports and Air Integration.

Modular Units built to expand indoor growing or office space — customized to fit function

InPlant manufactures the widest product range in Modular Building Systems. We begin your plan with one of InPlant’s Structural Building Systems in aluminum or steel. For the indoor growing environment we recommend Aluminum Systems for washdown and sanitation applications. Based on the environment and purpose of your Modular Unit, InPlant will customize your Grow Room, Modular Office, Equipment Enclosure or smaller portable Booth for you. We know that indoor growing requires a whole host of equipment, so our custom rail systems are designed to integrate with grow light and ventilation systems. InPlant’s Modular Building Systems are known for their strength and wide spans up to 40´ without center support columns in Non-Load-Bearing applications. You can gain rooftop storage or production space with the Load-Bearing Systems that are reinforced with recessed I-beams on 48˝ centers, giving a load capacity up to 125 lb per square foot.

The Building System consists of Wiring Studs, Corner Posts, Wall Starters, Ceiling Cap and Floor Track with Vinyl Base Molding

Load-bearing Support & Wiring Studs • The supporting Wiring Studs are located at each Wall Panel junction – every 4 foot or less. See InPlant’s Building System options, and the different features of the lightweight and load-bearing options. In addition to structural support, the Wiring Studs act as wiring raceways with removable cover plates which allow easy access for electrical conduit and communications cables

Corner Posts • InPlant Corner Posts incorporate the expandable and non-progressive features of the InPlant Building System. The Corner Posts are made of extruded aluminum that is anodized or painted to match your Wall Panel selection or custom paint color.

Wall Starters • For single Wall Partitions and 2 or 3 wall configurations. InPlant Wall Starters are anchored in existing walls and securely set the leading Wall Panel- perfect for segmenting cultivation.

Ceiling Cap & Trim • The Ceiling Cap with a metal angle is seen on the exterior, as it conceals the roof deck (20ga steel, or aluminum option).

Floor Track & Base • The Floor Track is anchored to the existing floor (24ga steel, or aluminum option). Vinyl Base Molding conceals the Floor Track along the interior and exterior of every Wall Panel and extends around the outside corners.

Wall Panels designed according to application

InPlant’s Wall Panels have diverse qualities — outer surfaces and inner core options are designed for safety, environmental control, Noise Control, and agricultural applications. You may select from a wide variety of prefabricated Wall Panels with standard finishes or request fabrication using custom materials and paint colors. Our air-tight, non-shedding walls are ideal for the delicate balance of your Grow Room. Choose the appropriate Wall Panels for your application in either 1¾˝ or 3˝ thickness, and in standard 8´ to 26´ height which can extend taller. See Wall Panel selections.

Doors & Loading Framed Openings • InPlant Wall Panel Systems are designed to fit your indoor growing and production needs — specialty doors are available, as well as high-speed or manual roll-up doors, bump doors, sliding, strip, or panic exit doors. InPlant’s modular design allows for many types of framed openings that can accommodate conveyors, turntables, overhead crane entry, and loading components. In the growing environment, single or double steel swing doors are pre-hung with a light-tight sealing gasket with an insulated core (standard 3×7´). The door ensures minimum exposure of your plants to any unwanted pathogens. Windows and security equipment such as key-card access systems can be placed in doors upon request.

Protective, Fixed or Functional Viewing Windows • InPlant’s standard window units are made of ¼˝  thick tempered glass, and pre-installed in anodized aluminum frames. Windows span the full width of the panel and may extend various heights for aesthetic or viewing purposes (standard height 41˝), or slide for functionality . Alternate window materials include tinted, wire glass, laminated, insulated, acrylic, polycarbonate and safety glazing for equipment enclosures.
